The Co-Lin Foundation, Inc., is the fundraising arm of the college. It is a nonprofit corporation that serves as a clearinghouse for private sector monies given to Co-Lin. The Foundation is governed by a 23-member board of directors, and its goal is to raise private monies to support the mission of the college. All contributions made to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of IRS guidelines. All checks should be made payable to the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation.
Gifts made to the Foundation are an important way to support education and provide for better communities and economic development. There are a variety of ways you can help to meet the needs of the college. A gift from you can provide:
- Community and student learning opportunities
- Cultural enrichment for students and their communities
- Support for athletic programs
- Student and faculty scholarships
- Academic program support
- Improved computer technology
Endowed/Presidential scholarships
Endowed and Presidential scholarships from the Co-Lin Foundation are made possible by individual donations. The application period opens in December and is due by March 1 each year.

The scholarship application process is entirely online! You must register for an AwardSpring account, and you may log in to your account at any time to check the status of your application. You will be notified via email and your AwardSpring dashboard of any scholarships you are awarded and/or next steps to take. Any scholarship funds awarded will be available for use during the following fall and spring semesters.
