Honors College
Honors College Eligibility
Students from all three Co-Lin campuses can apply to be part of the Honors College. Interested students must have an ACT Composite score of 25 or a 3.4 GPA after 12 hours of coursework. Applications are open each semester for students who feel they meet the qualifications to apply. If you have questions regarding Co-Lin's Honors College please email honorscollege@colin.edu.
Honors College Levels
- Bronze: 6 honor credit hours
- Silver: 10 honor credit hours (must include at least 2 hours of HON/LEA courses)
- Gold: 21 honor credit hours (must include at least 6 hours of HON/LEA courses)
Student Expectations
- Maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA to remain in good standing as part of the Honors College with no disciplinary issues
- Complete required activities (level determined by completed courses and activities)

Partnerships
The University of Southern Mississippi
Co-Lin has an MOU (Memoranda of Understanding) with the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) to allow Co-Lin Honors College graduates to be automatically enrolled in the Honors College at USM. Keep in mind, students planning to transfer from Co-Lin Honors College to a university honors college might have to be silver level or above.
Mississippi University for Women
Co-Lin has an MOU (Memoranda of Understanding) with Mississippi University for Women (MUW) to allow Co-Lin Honors College graduates to be granted admission into MUW Honors College. Keep in mind, students planning to transfer from Co-Lin Honors College to a university honors college might have to be silver level or above.
Mississippi State University
Co-Lin and Mississippi State University signed an agreement to solidify a seamless transfer for students in Co-Lin's new Honors College to receive seamless acceptance into the Shackouls Honors College at MSU
