Proctored Exams
For the required in-person proctored exam, the student may schedule an appointment at any of the testing facilities located on all 15 community college campuses in Mississippi by clicking on In-Person Proctoring inside the Canvas course. No fee is assessed to students enrolled in an online course when using a proctoring site on a Mississippi community/junior college campus. Note:
- It is the student’s responsibility to plan appropriately for the test. Set your appointment for the test as soon as your instructor provides the dates of availability to ensure that you are able to secure an appointment that fits with your schedule.
- Students must show a photo ID prior to testing.
- No cell phones, computers, or other electronic devices should be brought into the assessment center unless specifically listed as a permitted material during testing by the course instructor.
- Do not bring anyone with you to the Assessment Center.

Wesson Campus – Assessment Center in the Library
- Monday & Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tuesday: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday: 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Natchez Campus – Library
- Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Thursday: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday: closed
Simpson County Center – Library
- Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Important: Friday proctoring is not part of the regular testing schedule. Exams may be proctored on Fridays on a case-by-case basis with advance approval.
Live Online Proctoring
SmarterServices Live Online Proctoring is an online proctoring service that is provided through CLCC’s participation in the Mississippi Virtual Community College. Approved use of this service is determined by each individual instructor. This is an optional paid service for students.
Student Support for Live Online Proctoring with SmarterServices
NOTE: Students who choose to use this optional service will be required to use a web-camera before and during the assessment. Testers may be asked to pan the surrounding area before and during testing. Students who are not comfortable with using a web-camera for this purpose should use an approved MSVCC Assessment Center.
