The Strength and Grace Annual Scholarship was recently established with the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation by

Cassie Coleman. This scholarship was established to benefit a non-traditional student pursuing either an academic or career-tech program.
Coleman, of Summit, previously worked as a pharmacy tech when a supervisor encouraged her to continue her education. Just as her daughter was starting preschool, Coleman enrolled at Co-Lin and graduated in 2016. She became a pharmacist after graduating from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and has worked at Guy’s Pharmacy for the past four years.
“I wanted to give back,” she said. “I received a non-traditional scholarship when I attended Co-Lin, and I know how much of an impact that can have.”
Coleman is married to Justus, and they have one daughter, Elizabeth Grace.
Contributions to the Strength and Grace Annual Scholarship, or any other scholarship, can be mailed to the Co-Lin Foundation at P.O. Box 649, Wesson, MS 39191, or made online at https://www.colin.edu/alumni-foundation/give-now/.
