Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Natchez Campus recently held a pinning ceremony for the 2024 Practical Nursing class. Graduates included Alexis Ceasor of Ferriday, LA; Shamyriah Fisher of Walker, LA; Errick Harried Sr. of Brookhaven; Lauren Hicks of Natchez; Fransheska James of Natchez; Keyanna Jefferson of Ferriday, LA; LaDaria Johnson of Natchez; Miracle Lane of Woodville; Jaylazarus Minor of Natchez; Yakallie Nickelson of Natchez; Angelena Reed of Fayette; NoRael Thompson of Woodville, and Brandy Warshaw of Vidalia, LA.
The Practical Nursing program is a one-year program that Co-Lin offers on the Wesson, Natchez, and Simpson County Center locations. Students are exposed to a well-balanced program of scientific foundations to provide knowledge, skills and understanding needed to function as a practical nurse. After graduation, students will receive a certificate and be eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for Practical Nurses.
