Copiah-Lincoln Community College sophomores Tyler Leggett of Wesson and Rebekah Girault of Hazlehurst have been elected as Mr. and Miss Copiah-Lincoln Community College by their peers on the college’s Wesson Campus.
Leggett is the son of Avery and Kina Leggett. He is a sophomore majoring in Cybersecurity. During his time at Co-Lin, he has been inducted into the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, and selected to Who’s Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Leggett serves as a Trailblazer and has been named to the Honors List. A Foundation scholarship recipient, Leggett is also active in the Baptist Student Union. After Co-Lin, he plans to continue his education at Mississippi State University. Leggett is a graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center.
Girault is the daughter of Johnny and Susie Girault and Jarrett and Nita Moore. She is a sophomore majoring in business. Girault is a two-year member of the Co-Lin Cheerleading squad and participates in intramurals on campus. She is an active participant at the Baptist Student Union and was named second alternate in the 2024 Co-Lin Trillium Beauty Pageant. After Co-Lin, she plans to attend Mississippi State University to pursue a degree in elementary education. Girault is a graduate of Copiah Academy.
