Published: November 6, 2026

Copiah-Lincoln Community College is pleased to announce the hiring of Emily Sullivan Flessner of Brookhaven as Assistant Director of Foundation/Alumni Relations.

Flessner previously served as the Wesson Campus Career Coach. Prior to joining Co-Lin, she held several leadership roles at Jones College, most recently serving as Assistant Dean of Students. In this position, she oversaw campus events and student activities, served as Director of Transfer Services and Director of Campus Life, and worked closely with the Dean of Students to support student engagement and campus initiatives. In her new role, Flessner will focus on alumni relations and athletic fundraising.

“I am excited to welcome Emily to our staff,” said Angela Furr, Executive Director of Foundation/Alumni Relations. “Her experience at Jones has given her a strong understanding of the community college system, and I look forward to working with her and benefiting from the fresh perspective and new ideas she brings to our alumni relations and fundraising efforts.”

Flessner is a 2019 graduate of the University of Mississippi and holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a master’s in integrated marketing communications. She is a member of the Mississippi Community College Alumni and Advancement Association. She is married to Kyle Flessner, Co-Lin’s head baseball coach, and they are proud parents to their one year old son, Jack Bennett.
