Orientation/Registration

Registering for college is an exciting time in your life, and we are committed to providing the best experience at Co-Lin!

Pre-Registration sessions are designed to help all entering students start planning for the semester early. Our focus is to assist you in becoming further acquainted with Co-Lin, obtaining academic/curriculum planning advice, and preparing your class schedule for the upcoming semester. During Pre-Registration you will also get your Student ID, Parking Decal, and can meet with Financial Aid and Housing if needed. We can’t WAIT for you to be part of the Co-Lin family!

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

  • APPLY: Complete an application for admission prior to attending pre-registration HERE.
  • ACT: All academic and career-technical students are required to have the ACT. It is to your advantage to have your scores on file in Enrollment Services before you attend a Pre-Registration session. You can call the Enrollment Services Office on the campus you plan to attend to verify that your ACT scores are on file. Students who attend Pre-Registration without ACT scores will have to take a placement test before a class schedule can be made. A $40 fee will be charged and a photo ID is required to take the test.
  • TRANSCRIPTS: Send an official transcript from your high school as well as any colleges you have attended to Enrollment Services. If you have a High School Equivalency (HSE), submit those scores to Enrollment Services.
  • PROGRAM: Check with Enrollment Services to make sure your selected program of study is listed correctly.
  • FINANCIAL AID: Apply for financial aid prior to attending pre-registration. Go to www.studentaid.gov to apply.
  • HOUSING: If you plan to live in a residence hall on the Wesson Campus, complete the housing application in your MyPack account and pay the $75 reservation fee prior to attending pre-registration. Housing assignments will be posted at Student Services during pre-registration.
  • PAYMENT: Although you will be Pre-Registered for your Fall 2025 semester, you are not required to pay tuition and fees at the Pre-Registration session. Arrangements must be made with the Business Office to have your fees paid by the time classes begin in August.
