The Upward Bound Program assists eligible students from target area high schools to experience success in post-secondary education for a career of their choice.  During the academic year, the program provides instructional, tutorial, and counseling services in the high school setting along with monthly Saturday sessions hosted at the college.  A residential summer session enables students to improve their academic skills and to participate in motivational activities relevant to making career choices.  The Upward Bound Program is federally funded 100% through a grant by the U.S. Department of Education.
