Three inducted to Co-Lin Natchez Campus Hall of Fame Picture

Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Natchez Campus recently inducted three outstanding students into the college’s Hall of Fame, the highest honor bestowed on a student. Ciera Demby of Natchez, Lawrence Jones of Natchez, and Alexis June of Woodville were selected as this year’s inductees.

Demby serves as the recording secretary for the Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. She was selected to the Phi Theta Kappa All-Mississippi Academic Team and was selected as a Natchez Early College Class Favorite. She is a member of the Trailblazers and was selected to Who’s Who at Co-Lin. She volunteered for STEM Day and Science Olympiad as well as other campus activities. She will be furthering her education in biology/pre-medicine after graduation.

Jones is a member of the Trailblazers where he assists with campus recruitment and tours. He was selected to Who's Who at Co-Lin and as a Campus Favorite. Lawrence volunteered with STEM Day, College Fair, and Science Olympiad in addition to numerous other campus events. He will be attending the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in pre-nursing upon graduation.

June is a member of the Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. She was selected as the 2021 Outstanding Biology Student, Student of the Month, and to Who’s Who at Co-Lin. She is the recipient of a Co-Lin Foundation Scholarship and the 2022-23 Annette West Donnan Memorial Scholarship. She will be graduating from the Respiratory Care Technology program in May.
