Nissan donates robots to Co-Lin Automation & Control program

March 3, 2021

It was a BIG day for Co-Lin's Career-Technical division! Two FANUC robots and control panels valued at nearly a quarter of a million dollars, generously donated by Nissan Canton, were delivered and installed for our Automation & Control Technology program on the Wesson Campus. The college is proud of our strong partnership with Nissan Canton, and our graduates often find excellent employment opportunities at Nissan after graduation.

"I am so grateful for our partnership with Nissan Canton," said Mandy Case, Automation & Control Program Coordinator. "This donation will set our amazing students up for even greater success by broadening their skill set."

Co-Lin is the only community college in Mississippi with robots of this caliber. For any students interested in a career in automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, engineering, electrical technology, or electronics, there is no better place than Co-Lin to begin training for a rewarding career!
