Co-Lin Natchez honored as Business of the Month

NATCHEZ – Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Natchez Campus has been named Business of the Month. This recognition is sponsored by the City of Natchez, Adams County Board of Supervisors, Natchez Business and Civic League, and Natchez-Adams Chamber of Commerce.

“We are honored to receive this recognition that highlights our outstanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) and academic programs, which have been pivotal in supporting the workforce of Natchez,” said Vice President Dr. Pernell Goodwin. “Our programs are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers, and our graduates consistently make significant contributions to the local economy.”

In addition to CTE and academic offerings, the college boasts a strong partnership with the Natchez-Adams School District. Through this collaboration, the Natchez Early College Academy was established, allowing high school students to simultaneously earn their high school diploma and an associate degree. This program exemplifies Co-Lin’s commitment to providing innovative educational opportunities that prepare students for future success.
