Co-Lin Natchez Campus records twelve percent enrollment increase for fall semester
Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Natchez Campus is proud to announce a 12 percent increase in enrollment for the fall 2024 semester. This growth reflects increases across the board, in both Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and academic courses. Academic students traditionally aim to continue their education at a university after earning their associate degree at Co-Lin, while CTE students are preparing to enter the workforce or advance their careers with specialized skills and trades.
The enrollment increase can be credited to the dedicated efforts of the Enrollment Services team and the collaborative efforts of the entire campus community. Additionally, new programs and course offerings continue to provide more opportunities for students to earn a degree or certificate in an area they are passionate about.
"Our team has been working tirelessly to connect with prospective students and ensure they feel supported throughout the admissions process," said Sharon Turner, Director of Enrollment Services. "It’s gratifying to see the results of those efforts with our growing student body."
The Career and Technical Education programs have also experienced consecutive years of growth. CTE Director Tiffany Woods shared her thoughts on the program’s success.
"We’ve seen a continued rise in students enrolling in our career and technical programs, which speaks to the value they see in gaining practical skills that lead directly to job opportunities,” said Woods. “We’re excited to keep building on this momentum."
