Co-Lin announces 2019-2020 Hall of Fame honorees

Co-Lin President Dr. Jane Hulon announced the 2019-2020 Hall of Fame recipients for the Wesson Campus are Nick Brumfield of Bogue Chitto, Payton Davis of Monticello, Adam Martinez of Brookhaven, Caroline Pace of Brookhaven, Allie Claire Townsend of Brookhaven, and Emily Warren of Brandon. The recipients for the Natchez Campus are Xavian Lewis, Sydney Ozburn, and Breonsay White, all of Natchez. The recipients for the Simpson County Center are Dayra Gutierrez of Mount Olive and Chloe White of Magee.

WESSON CAMPUS

Nick Brumfield of Bogue Chitto serves as President of the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. He is a member of the Trailblazers, Council of Presidents, Student Government Association, and Phi Beta Lambda. A Taylor Presidential Scholar, Nick was selected Eta Omega Chapter Officer of the Year and to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is the son of Lyle and Sharon Brumfield.

Payton Davis of Monticello is President of Mu Alpha Theta and the Alpha Omega Science Club. He is a member of the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Trailblazers, Council of Presidents, Baptist Student Union, and the SeaWolves Underwater Robotics Team. He is the recipient of the Frank Pitts and Neva B. Thames Scholarships and was selected to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is the son of Craig and Rachel Davis.

Adam Martinez of Brookhaven serves as President of the Trailblazers, Vice President of Fellowship for the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, and Parliamentarian of Phi Beta Lambda. He is also a member of the Student Government Association. Adam was selected Eta Omega Chapter Officer of the Year and to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The recipient of endowed scholarships, Adam was a first and second place winner at the state conference of Phi Beta Lambda and finished in the Top 10 at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference. He is the son of Paul and Misty Martinez.

Caroline Pace of Brookhaven serves as the Blue Wave Show Band Colette Captain. She is a member of the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Trailblazers, and Student Government Association. Caroline was selected to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and a freshman Homecoming Maid. She is also the recipient of two endowed scholarships. She is the daughter of James and Kim Pace.

Allie Claire Townsend of Brookhaven serves as Blue Wave Show Band Color Guard Captain, Vice President of Service for the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and Vice President of Membership for Mu Alpha Theta. She is a member of Future Teachers of America, Trailblazers, and the Baptist Student Union. A Taylor Presidential Scholar and President's List student, Allie Claire was selected to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Campus Favorite, and as a Coca-Cola Academic Gold Scholar. She is the daughter of Dwayne and Cindy Townsend.

Emily Warren of Brandon serves as Vice President of Leadership for the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Vice President of Communications for Mu Alpha Theta, and Vice President of the Student Government Association. She is a member of the Trailblazers, Diamond Dolls, and volunteers as a tutor. A President's List student, Emily was selected to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Campus Favorite, and a freshman Homecoming Maid. She is also the recipient of an endowed scholarship. She is the daughter of Richard and Leigh Warren.

NATCHEZ CAMPUS

Xavian Lewis of Natchez serves as the Phi Theta Kappa MS/LA Regional Secretary and is Vice President of Leadership for the Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter. He is a member of the Trailblazers and Student Government Association. He was selected to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and is the recipient of the Vance Scholar Award and the William Winter Scholar Award. He volunteers at Natchez Little Theatre, his local church and the state church organization, Mississippi Southern First Jurisdiction.

Sydney Ozburn of Natchez is a Hotel and Restaurant Management Technology major. She is a member of DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America). A President's List student, Sydney was selected to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Breonsay White of Natchez is a History/Pre-law major. A Vice President's List student, she is Secretary of the Trailblazers and Secretary of the Student Government Association. She is a member of the Christian Student Ministries and Team Co-Lin: Relay for Life. She was selected as a sophomore Campus Favorite.

SIMPSON COUNTY CENTER

Dayra Gutierrez of Mount Olive is a member of the Beta Xi Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and serves as publicity chair for the Student Government Association and the Trailblazers. A President's List student, Dayra was selected as a Campus Favorite and to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in business with a minor in Spanish. She is the daughter of Carlos Gutierrez and Rosario De Leon.

Chloe White of Magee serves as President of the Student Government Association, Vice President of Communication for Phi Theta Kappa, and Vice President of the Trailblazers. She is a member of the Archery Team and Bible Club. Chloe was selected as a Campus Favorite her freshman and sophomore years, as well as a Beauty in the Trillium Beauty Pageant. She received the English Award and was selected to Who's Who at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The recipient of Co-Lin Foundation Scholarships, Chloe is a member of Phi Theta Kappa's All-Mississippi Academic Team. She is the daughter of Shelly and David Crane and Tim and Brenda White.
