Wesson Campus inducts six into 2022 Hall of Fame

Copiah-Lincoln Community College's Wesson Campus named six outstanding sophomores to the prestigious 2021-2022 Hall of Fame during the annual awards day ceremony. Induction into the college’s Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed on a student at Co-Lin. Inducted were from left, Kenner Bizot, Gracee Warren, Shelbi Maxwell, Paige Shedd, Morgyn Brister, and Bailey Wilson.
Louis Kenner Bizot, IV of Wesson serves as President of the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and as President of Mu Alpha Theta. He is a member of the Trailblazers, serves as Co-Captain of the Wolf Pack Baseball team, and was elected as Mr. Co-Lin. Bizot was named to the NJCAA All-Academic Third Team, MACCC Honorable Mention, and MACCC Academic All-State. He was selected to Who’s Who at Co-Lin and is a Pitts Scholar. He is the son of Kenny and Jeni Bizot.
Morgyn Alana Brister of Bogue Chitto serves as Vice President of Service for the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and is a member of the Trailblazers and Mu Alpha Theta. She was selected to Who’s Who at Co-Lin and is a member of the Lady Wolves Tennis team where she was named NJCAA All-Academic First Team, MACCC All-Conference, MACCC Distinguished Academic All-State, and was a member of the NJCAA and MACCC Academic Team of the Year. She is the daughter of Gwen Lambert and Dale Brister.
Shelbi Leann Maxwell of Wesson serves as Vice President of Communications for Mu Alpha Theta and was selected as Miss Co-Lin. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Trailblazers, and was selected to Who’s Who at Co-Lin. A Taylor Presidential Scholar, Maxwell is also a member of the Lady Wolves Softball Team where she was named NJCAA All-Academic First Team, MACCC All-Conference Honorable Mention, and MACCC Distinguished Academic All-Conference. She is the daughter of Michelle and Jason Berch.
Paige Elizabeth Shedd of Brookhaven serves as Vice President of Leadership for the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Vice President of Wolf Pack Wellness, and Vice President of Mu Alpha Theta. She is a member of Sigma Kappa Delta and the Seawolves Underwater Robotics Team. A Taylor Presidential Scholar, Shedd was a member of the Lady Wolves Tennis team her freshman year where she was named NJCAA All-Academic First Team and MACCC Distinguished Academic All-State. She was selected to Who’s Who at Co-Lin. Shedd is the daughter of Barry and Regina Shedd.
Gracee Warren of Bogue Chitto serves as President of Wolf Pack Wellness, Vice President of Finance for Mu Alpha Theta, and Vice President of Scholarship for the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. She was selected to Who’s Who at Co-Lin and is a member of the Trailblazers, Sigma Kappa Delta, and the Seawolves Underwater Robotics Team. Warren is also a member of the Lady Wolves Tennis team and is a Taylor Presidential Scholar. She is the daughter of Chris and Mary Warren.
Bailey Elizabeth Wilson of Brookhaven serves as Vice President of the Student Government Association and Vice President of Communications for the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. She was selected to Who’s Who at Co-Lin, as a Campus Favorite, and is a Taylor Presidential Scholar. Wilson is a member of the Trailblazers, Mu Alpha Theta, Sigma Kappa Delta, and Wolf Pack Wellness. She is a Mississippi Eminent Scholar. She is the daughter of Anita Thornton and Jason Wilson.
