Hood, Martin complete Community College Policy Fellowship Program

Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wesson Campus Vice President Jackie Martin (left) and eLearning Director Dr. Amanda Hood recently completed the Community College Policy Fellowship Program (CPFP), Mississippi Cohort.

The CPFP program is designed to give Fellows first-hand, high-level experience in working with the federal government and to increase awareness and education of national affairs. The program requires fellows to dedicate considerable time to program responsibilities and assignments and to travel to Washington D.C. as a cohort.

Martin also received the 2021-2022 Outstanding Fellow Award. The Outstanding Fellow Award recognizes a Mississippi Community College Policy Fellow who has displayed distinctive leadership and meritorious service to their profession through participation in the CPFP program. More importantly, the recipient is chosen by their peers.
