Floyd named Co-Lin Simpson Co. Center Vice President
Dr. Anika Floyd of Mendenhall has been named the Vice President of Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Simpson County Center. She has served as Director of Student Services at the Simpson County Center since 2012 where she oversees enrollment services, student records, and recruitment. Dr. Floyd will begin her new role effective June 1, 2022.
Dr. Floyd earned a bachelor’s degree from Belhaven College, master’s degrees from Mississippi College and Alcorn State University, and a doctorate degree in community college leadership from Mississippi State University.
During her time at Co-Lin, Dr. Floyd has been awarded the Howell C. Garner High Performance Award (2010 and 2016), received the 2011 Trillium Yearbook Dedication, and the 2021 Phi Theta Kappa Outstanding Staff Award.
Dr. Floyd serves as a member of the Simpson County ACT Preparation Program, Magee High School P16 Council, Magee Consolidated-McLaurin Vocational Attendance Center Historical Society, and the Mississippi Scholars Steering Committee. She is an active member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Magee.
She is married to Anthony Floyd and is the proud mother of three children, Keyuna, Ashley, and Allison.
