Outstanding students honored as Mr. & Miss Co-Lin 2021

WESSON CAMPUS

Louis Kenner Bizot IV and Shelbi Leann Maxwell, both of Wesson, have been selected as Mr. & Miss Copiah-Lincoln Community College for the Wesson Campus. 

Bizot is a graduate of Wesson Attendance Center and is the son of Kenny and Jeni Bizot. He serves as President of both Phi Theta Kappa and Mu Alpha Theta and is a member of the Trailblazers. He is a Pitts Scholar and is a member of the Wolf Pack Baseball team where he was named All-MACCC Honorable Mention in 2021.

Maxwell is a graduate of Wesson Attendance Center and is the daughter of Michelle and Jason Berch. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Trailblazers, and serves as Vice President of Communications for Mu Alpha Theta. She is a Taylor Presidential Scholar and a member of the Lady Wolves Softball team where she was named All-MACCC Honorable Mention in 2021.

NATCHEZ CAMPUS

Jerome Joseph Timmons III of Natchez and Samaria Viviana Spears of Woodville have been selected as Mr. & Miss Copiah-Lincoln Community College for the Natchez Campus. 

Timmons is the son of Shante and Jerome Timmons Jr. of Natchez. He is an exercise science major. After completing his studies at Natchez Early College and Co-Lin, he plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi with plans to become a physical therapist.

Spears is the daughter of Shantoura Spears and Montrell Robinson. She is a pre-pharmacy major. She serves as Vice President of Service for Phi Theta Kappa. After Co-Lin, she plans to attend the University of Louisiana at Monroe to continue her education to become a clinical pharmacist.

SIMPSON COUNTY CENTER

Jonas Frank Pudas and Hattie Grace Ashmore, both of Magee, have been selected as Mr. & Miss Copiah-Lincoln Community College for the Simpson County Center. 

Pudas is the son of Matt and Beth Pudas of Magee. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Bible Club, Phi Theta Kappa honor society, and Student Government Association. He was honored as the Outstanding Student in Automation and Control and was named to Who’s Who at Co-Lin.

Ashmore is the daughter of Chad and Kristy Ashmore of Magee. She is President of Phi Theta Kappa, Secretary/Treasurer of Student Government Association, and is a member of the Trailblazers, Phi Beta Lambda, and the Bible Club. Ashmore is currently reigning as Co-Lin’s 2020 Most Beautiful and was a homecoming maid her freshman year.
