PROFILE OF FACILITY

The Thames Center is a state-of-the-art conference and meeting facility with superb accommodations, a variety of choices available for catering and in-house dining, and recreational options.  Our full range of modern resources and conveniences are complimented by a remarkable degree of warmth and personal service. The staff offices of the College's Workforce Education Division are also housed in the Thames Center. 

wolf_hall_group3 copy.jpg (67823 bytes)Wolf Hall is a large banquet hall with an adjacent full-service kitchen. This large room is designed so that it can be subdivided in to three smaller banquet rooms or six breakout rooms.  We have the capability of transforming any of these rooms into banquet, theatre, reception, or classroom seating.   Wolf Hall's features include a drop down projector screen, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems perfect for training programs, specialized meetings, retreats, reunions, strategic planning sessions or for your company's annual employee dinner.

 

Natchez Room Edged.JPG (38856 bytes)Natchez Room is a large conference room that can be used for training or for general meetings.  This room has everything you need to provide a modern training session with the most up-to-date technology.  You can receive satellite downlinks for teleconferences, project PowerPoint presentations, etc.

 

Wesson Room Edged.JPG (44229 bytes)Wesson Room is a technology lab that has 25 computers (24 student and 1 instructor).  These computers can be used to provide customized training for business and industry.  In addition, we have laptop computers available for training.

 

Bedroom Suite (63489 bytes)Suites are available for smaller conferences or breakout sessions. These two suites will accommodate 8-15 persons.  They are suitable for an informal meeting for business or discussion forums.  Adjoining each suite are two bedrooms, all with work/study areas, private baths, and other amenities. 

Overnight accommodations are limited to the four bedrooms, each with two double beds.  However, the two suites could accommodate additional persons with the use of a sofa sleeper.

 

Thames Back Edged.JPG (94388 bytes)Patio is available for the use of meeting participants for relaxation and outdoor, informal social functions.
