PROFILE
OF FACILITY
The
Thames Center is a state-of-the-art conference and meeting facility with
superb accommodations, a variety of choices available for catering and
in-house dining, and recreational options. Our full range of modern
resources and conveniences are complimented by a remarkable degree of warmth
and personal service. The staff offices of the College's Workforce Education
Division are also housed in the Thames Center.
Wolf
Hall is a large banquet hall with an adjacent full-service
kitchen. This large room is designed so that it can be subdivided in to
three smaller banquet rooms or six breakout rooms. We
have the capability of transforming any of these rooms into banquet, theatre, reception,
or classroom seating. Wolf Hall's features include a drop down projector screen,
state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems perfect for training programs, specialized meetings,
retreats, reunions, strategic planning sessions or
for your company's annual employee dinner.
Natchez
Room is a large conference room that can be used for training or for
general meetings. This room has everything you need to provide a modern training session with
the most up-to-date technology. You can receive satellite downlinks for
teleconferences, project PowerPoint presentations, etc.
Wesson
Room is a technology lab that has 25 computers (24 student and 1
instructor). These computers can be used to provide customized training for business
and industry. In addition, we have laptop computers available for
training.
Suites
are available for smaller conferences or breakout sessions. These two suites will
accommodate 8-15 persons. They are suitable for an informal meeting for business or
discussion forums. Adjoining each suite are two bedrooms, all with work/study areas,
private baths, and other amenities.
Overnight accommodations are limited to the four
bedrooms, each with two double beds. However, the two suites could accommodate
additional persons with the use of a sofa sleeper.
Patio
is available for the use of meeting participants for relaxation and outdoor, informal
social functions.
If you have been searching for a special meeting
place like no other in this area, whether it be for a small group or large gatherings,
look no further. Our fees are reasonable and very competitive. We invite you
to call or come by for a tour of our conference facilities. We will be glad to set
up a time to customize a plan for your special event.
