THE BILLY B. THAMES CONFERENCE CENTER
The Billy B. Thames Conference Center, located on the Wesson Campus of Copiah-Lincoln Community College, is committed to providing quality programs, services, and meeting facilities for business, industry, and other organizations. The Thames Center combines a state-of-the-art conference facility with a professional, dedicated staff to create an atmosphere that will make your conference or workshop an enjoyable experience. As an added convenience, the facility is nestled in a quiet setting adjacent to the college's 18-hole Wolf Hollow Golf Course.
The Thames Center is named in honor of the college's former president, Dr. Billy B. Thames who served from 1968-1997.
VISION STATEMENT
The Thames Center at Copiah-Lincoln Community College will be the preferred facility in southwest Mississippi for use by business, industry, educational, civic organizations, and other groups. The Thames Center will be the most modern facility of its type offering state-of-the-art training and technology. Through its use, the Conference Center will be an integral part of economic development in southwest Mississippi.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Thames Center at Copiah-Lincoln Community College provides a modern facility to house the personnel and resources necessary for meeting the educational and training needs of business, industry and other organizations. The Thames Center works in cooperation with the Workforce Education Division of the College and is committed to providing quality programs, services and meeting facilities for all groups.
