Financial Aid & Scholarships
Federal School Code for Copiah-Lincoln Community College (002402)
The Financial Aid Office at Copiah-Lincoln Community College administers a variety of programs designed to assist students and their families in meeting the cost of attending Co-Lin. Financial aid is offered in a package of scholarships, grants, part-time employment, and/or loans. Awards cannot exceed the cost of attendance budget, which is $10,230 for dependent in-state students for the current award year.
Scholarships are gift programs that do not have to be repaid. Scholarships are awarded for academic achievement, athletics, and service to the college.
Grants are gift aids that do not have to be repaid. Grants usually require a demonstration of financial need, but some require academic promise.
Part-time employment on campus provides opportunities for students to earn money to apply toward their educational costs.
Student loans have to be repaid with interest.
Financial aid awards are made to students who have been accepted for admission and have a schedule on file. You must re-apply annually for federal and state grants, and Foundation scholarships.
Students can begin using financial aid for purchases in the Co-Lin Bookstore on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
Remember to complete the registration process by moving your enrollment status from preregistered to registered before attempting to make purchases using financial aid and scholarships.
