Terri Hodges signs with Lady Wolves
Co-Lin Softball Head
Softball Coach Allen Kent announces the signing of Brookhaven
High School product Terri Hodges. “We are excited about having
Terri join our program. She should be an asset on both offense
and defense. Terri is a real competitor who handles the bat
well and has good speed on the bases. She also has made
significant improvements in the circle, adding an array of
pitches to her repertoire. It’s always a plus having an
in-district pitcher who can contribute to our rotation.”
“Being more than just a
fastball thrower is a must for the next level. You must have
ball movement, along with and being able to locate and change
speeds. She has a pretty good game face, rarely showing
emotion, which is a good trait for a pitcher.”
“Terri has also played other
positions in summer travel ball, displaying versatility and
gaining confidence. She had some effective outings against some
pretty good 18 and under teams last summer. This should only
help her more this season at BHS and beyond.”
“She’s just a
good all-around athlete who is very coachable. We look forward
to her being able to come in and see a lot of immediate playing
time.”
