Lady Wolves win regional championship
The Co-Lin Lady Wolves defeated the Hinds Community College Lady
Eagles 3-1 in the finals of the NJCAA Region 23 Fast-Pitch
Softball Tournament at Traceway Park in Clinton, MS. The Lady
Wolves will make their second trip to the NJCAA National
Championship Tournament in Normal, Ill., in three years. Co-Lin finished third in the
National Tournament in 2006.

Wolves captured the MACJC State Softball Tournament Championship
beating the Gulf Coast Lady Bulldogs 1-0. Members of the Lady
Wolves are Ashley Jones of Monticello, Alex Foster of Natchez,
Chelsey Miller, Meleah Brown, Candace Avants and Devon Welch,
all of Bogue Chitto; Rebecca Rousseau of Shreveport, La.; Emily
Langley and Amber Bowman, both of Wesson; Kayla Crochet and
Becca Bailey, both of Baton Rouge, La.; Missy Paulina of LaPlace,
La.; Ashley Sykes of Brookhaven, Brittany Watts of Magee, and Becca Boone of Crystal
Springs. The lady Wolves are coached by Allen Kent assisted by
Johnny Williams and Duane Burt.

Congratulations to the Lady Wolves and Coaches Allen Kent,
Johnny Williams and Duane Burt on winning the MACJC State
Championship! They defeated Mississippi Gulf Coast 1-0
Tuesday, April 29. The Lady Wolves will play in the NJCAA Region 23
Tournament on Friday, May 2, at 5:00 p.m. at Traceway Park in
Clinton.

Lady Wolves resume play in State Championship
The Lady Wolves will
resume play in the State Championship game on Tuesday. Play was
suspended due to rain Saturday. The Lady Wolves were leading 1-0
in the first inning against Gulf Coast. The tournament is being
held at Clinton High School. Game time is 4:00 p.m. and will be
broadcast on 104.3 WMJU and streamed on the Internet at
www.colin.edu

Softball Team on their 6-0 win over the East Central Lady
Warriors in the MACJC State Softball Tournament! The Lady Wolves
will face the winner of the Gulf Coast-Northeast winner on
Friday, April 25, at 5:00 p.m. at the Clinton High School

Congratulations to
Coach Allen Kent and the Lady Wolves on winning the South
Division Championship on Saturday as they defeated Southwest 4-0
and 10-0.
They will be playing in
the MACJC State Tournament this weekend at the winner of the
