Returning students receive scholarships

Scholarship recipientsCo-Lin has awarded nearly 20 scholarships as part of the new state-wide Complete 2 Compete (C2C) initiative and the ComeBack 2 Co-Lin program.

Three scholarship recipients include Kilee Smith of Bogue Chitto, Nathaniel Szczublewski of Brookhaven, and Traniece White of Hazlehurst. All have returned to Co-Lin to complete their degree in hopes of enhancing career opportunities. Scholarship funds are used for tuition and fees.

C2C is designed to help Mississippi adults who have competed some college, but did not finish a degree, return to college and complete the remaining requirements necessary to earn their degree. Completing an application through the C2C website will allow interested candidates to determine how close they are to completing their degree.
