The physical education curriculum is designed for students who plan to follow a career as an instructor of physical education, athletic coach, or director of recreation programs. A student who plans to teach should also refer to the teacher education program at the institution he/she plans to attend. It is strongly recommended that students complete the Praxis I examination prior to transferring (if required).
The health/human performance curriculum is designed for students who plan to seek careers as a health or fitness specialist in corporate and clinical settings such.
The athletic training curriculum is designed for students to plan to become a certified athletic trainer. Athletic trainers are healthcare professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic training encompasses preventing, recognizing, managing, and rehabilitating injuries that result from physical activity. An athletic trainer functions as an integral member of the healthcare team in clinics, secondary schools, colleges and universities, professional sports programs, and other athletic healthcare settings.
The Business and Office Technology program offers training in Windows, Web Design: Expression Web, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office 2010: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook. The program is a two-year program that teaches the theory and practical applications necessary for employment in business, industry, government agencies, and professional areas. It exposes students to office career options, which involve the management of people and equipment resources, as well as an opportunity to recognize the relationship between worker and supervisor.
1. Must meet all general admission requirements set forth by Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
2. Must have a minimum ACT composite score of 14.
3. BOT 1013 Keyboarding or equivalent is strongly recommended.

The Accounting Technology option prepares students for entry-level accounting positions in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory as well as enhances the skills of persons currently employed in accounting who wish to advance. The program provides a foundation for students transferring to a four-year college or university to pursue a specialized degree in the field.
The Healthcare Data Technology option is designed to prepare students to work in office positions in hospitals, doctors' offices, health clinics, insurance companies, and other health related organizations. The student will develop skills using medical terminology, accounting, transcription, coding, and computer software applications.
The Microcomputer Technology option is designed for a student who wants to manage the microcomputer operations in an office, including software configuration, troubleshooting, network administration and system operation.
The Office Systems Technology option is designed to give students a broad overview of the entire office function and provide students an opportunity to investigate the integration of systems.
*This is the only program option that allows students to acquire a technical certificate upon completion of the freshman year.

The Architectural Engineering Technology Program is a two-year technical program designed to give the student essential knowledge and skills required for efficient and productive performance in the architectural field. Copiah-Lincoln grants an Associate in Applied Science degree to students upon satisfactory completion of the curriculum and assists in placing students in gainful employment.
