Preparing students pursuing degrees in:
Accounting (B.S.) preparatory- a curriculum designed to parallel the first two years of a bachelor's degree program.
Business Administration - a program which parallels the first two years necessary to pursue a bachelor's degree in: General Business, Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, etc. at a senior college or university.
In keeping with institutional objectives, the Business Division strives:
To offer the first two years of academic parallel courses and curricula of a four year bachelor's degree program for students who plan to transfer to a senior institution.
To offer opportunities for educational, economic and cultural development of citizens within the service area through personnel, facilities and resources of the college.
To provide guidance, counseling and other student services to assist students to meet their needs.
To provide educational opportunities for students to learn the necessary skills required to pursue successful business careers.
To actively encourage students to prepare for and participate in business related extracurricular competitions, such as Phi Beta Lambda, at the local, state, and national level against other students from other community colleges and four year universities.
