Minimum System Requirements

To get the most benefit from GED on-line, your computer should have these minimum requirements:

  Windows 95
  32 MB of system memory (RAM)
  25 MB of free hard drive space
  Color monitor, 256 colors with a resolution of 640 by 480
  CD ROM drive (Optional)
  Printer (Color recommended, but optional)
  Sound card and speakers (recommended, but optional)
  Keyboard
  Mouse

Since some of the features used are supported by the latest Internet browsers, you should be using at least Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5.
