He studied art at Co-Lin for two years where he served as president of Art Student’s League. In April Jacob was awarded the Outstanding Sophomore Art Major award.  Jacob has worked hard with the ASL on its many projects including the Wolves of Wesson. Along with Jacob’s many talents in painting and drawing, he is also a musician.  Has been performing in a local band for a few years.

Wolfzilla
is a prime example of Jacob’s bold and energetic imagination. Jacob wanted to create a wolf that was way more than just a painted-on design and he succeeded. You only have to look at this design to know Jacob. This design breaks the expected boundaries that many others would be afraid to cross. Enjoy the Razor-sharp spikes that radiate down the back and return to a kind of comic-book reality that Jacob so successfully employs.

Jacob used a variety of material and media to create this design. The spikes are hot press mat board that has been coated with bondo for texture. It was painted with acrylics and then coated with clear glossy polyurethane.
