Colettes
The Co-Lin Colettes has a long and proud tradition of excellence.
The Colettes perform with the Blue Wave Show Band
at football games, marching exhibitions and Christmas parades during the fall
semester. During the spring semester, the Colettes
perform at home basketball games and with the Jazz Band on their Spring Tour
of district high schools, as well as on the Spring Show. Each Colette earns a
scholarship and receives one hour of physical education or band credit each
semester they are a member. Colettes are selected
by tryout only. |
Color Guard
The Co-Lin Color Guard
utilizes a variety of flags and other innovative equipment in providing
the visual "color" to the Blue Wave Show
Band in football halftime shows, marching exhibitions, and Christmas
parades. Members of the Blue Wave Color Guard earn a band scholarship
for the fall semester by audition as well as a one hour physical
education credit or a one hour music credit. Members of the Color Guard
that play an instrument are eligible to be in the Concert Band, Jazz
Band and other
ensembles in the spring semester.Blue Wave
