Academic Scholarships
Each of the below mentioned scholarships is for two years provided a 3.00 (B) grade point average is maintained. Grades will be reviewed at the end of the academic year. Continuous full-time enrollment status is required. If you drop below full-time at any point, this will void your scholarship. These scholarships are reserved for Mississippi students only who graduated from a Mississippi high school. Students may receive benefits from only one of these scholarships and the benefits will be applied directly to the student's account in the Business Office.
All academic scholarships are honored upon enrollment during the first fall semester following the recipient's high school graduation. Academic scholarships are not awarded to students who enrollment begins during a spring semester nor to students attending during the summer. Academic scholarships are not available for transfer students. Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain a continuous full-time enrollment status. Scholarship recipients dropping below full-time status or withdrawing from school at any point during an enrollment period will automatically lose their scholarship.
Students who do not maintain the necessary grade point average, drop below full-time status, or withdraw from school forfeit their right to this scholarship. There is no probationary status regarding these scholarships.
