Financial Aid Timeline

As you view this timeline, you will be informed of the general time of the deadline in which steps the application process are due. For more specific dates please contact us.

January:                 

First date to complete the FAFSA online for upcoming year

First date to complete online state application, such as, MTAG/MESG

First date to submit scholarship application



February:

First disbursement of student loan funds for the semester is approximately the third Friday.


March:

March 1 is the deadline for submitting scholarship application.

Deadline for submitting Student Loan application is1st Friday of the month

 


April:

Refunds of grants and scholarships credit balances

Priority Deadline for FAFSA and Work-study application for new school year - April 1

Notification of awards for scholarships

Begin processing and awarding for upcoming school year

 


May:

Summer school awards

Satisfactory academic progress will be checked for the summer semester

 


June:

Summer school loan disbursements begin 3rd Friday of the month

Last date to submit FAFSA for current school year is June 30

 


July:

Refunds of grants and scholarships credit balances at end of month

Satisfactory academic progress will be checked for the fall semester

 



August:

Students can check accounts for all financial aid awards and student charges after first week of the month. If you have not been fully awarded, stay in touch with Financial Aid Office to complete your award process.

 


September:

Last date to submit online state application for the year is September 15

First disbursement of student loan funds for the semester is approximately the third Friday

 


 

October:

Last date to apply for student loans for the semester is the 1st Friday of the month

Refunds for grants and scholarships credit balances is expected the last Friday of the month

 


November:

All new students for the spring term will need to have financial aid processes completed

 


December:

Satisfactory academic progress will be checked for the spring semester
