The Workforce Development Center at Copiah-Lincoln Community College provides customized training to businesses and industries to assist them in meeting the changing demands of a productive workforce. The Workforce Development Center administers the Workforce Education and Training Program for the State Board for Community and Junior Colleges. Through the Workforce Development Center Coordinators, the Workforce Development Center provides customized training, pre-employment training, post-employment training, retraining, and upgrade training for existing or new industries. Training plans are designed to meet the specific needs of each industry from start-up through expansion. In addition, job-related forms, manuals, and other materials can be incorporated into the curriculum of each class. On- and off-site training classes and programs range from basic to advanced and are workplace-specific. Competent and qualified instructors are hired to conduct the necessary training. |
