Ages 6-13
Cost: $80

Lady Wolves Softball Camp - May 24 - 26, 2010
Grades 1-4 from 9:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m.
Grades 5-12 from 1:00—4:00 p.m.
Pre-paid camp fee is $70.00 and includes camp t-shirt, limited insurance, and Gatorade.
Walk-up registration will be $80.00

Girls Fundamental Basketball Camp - June 1-3, 2010

Girls and Boys Morning Basketball Camp – June 1-3, 2010
Grades 1-5
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Wolf Hollow Junior Golf Camp - July 7-9, 2010, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Learn the basics from PGA professional Ronny Ross.
Ages: 8-16
Cost: $60 includes snacks, drinks and prizes.

Cheer Camp  :::  Summer 2010 (Simpson County Center)

Cheer Camp for ages K5-6th grade taught by Co-Lin Cheerleaders June 21-25 8:30 am – 11:30 a.m. Campers will learn a dance, several cheers and chants, and jumps. Campers will be divided by grade and ability. The cost is $75 per child and the registration deadline is Friday, May 21. The class is subject to change based on number of students registered, or at the discretion of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Kids College  :::  Summer 2010 (Natchez Campus)

 

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

To register, please come to the Willie Mae Dunn Library located in the Tom Reed Academic Building at Copiah-Lincoln Community College,you can return the registration form by mail to  - Kids College, Copiah-Lincoln Community College, 11 Co-Lin Circle, Natchez, MS  39120 or if paying by credit card call 601-446-1103.

Class sizes are limited and registration is on a first come first served basis. All supplies are included in the registration fee. Class times are 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.. Monday through Thursday (unless specified otherwise). Classes are held in the Redd-Watkins Vocational-Technical Center. Please send a snack from home or money for your child to purchase a snack at break time.


June 14        Bicycle Bash
“Bike accidents crash-land more kids in hospital emergency rooms than any other sport. In fact, kids ages 5 to 14 get hurt more often than bikers of any other age!” (CPSC.gov)  Bicycle safety will be covered and a free bike mechanical check will be given along with fun hands on activities that will improve bike handling skills.  Registration fee includes a bicycle helmet.  So bring your bike and join us for some biking fun!  Drinks and snacks provided.  Special arrangements for bringing bicycles on Sunday evening can be made if necessary.
Ages 5 – 14

June 17        American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course
This one day course will give students the confidence and skills to be great babysitters.
Ages 11 & up
Fee:  $30 (lunch will be provided)
Time: 9:00 a.m.-3 p.m.


June 7-10        Beginning Guitar
Students will be introduced to basic guitar playing in a small group setting.  Some guitars are available for students’ use during the class.
Grades 4th & Up

Lots of fun, hands-on projects that will include painting, sculpting, drawing, plus much more!

June 15-18        Healthy From the Inside—Out! (Tuesday – Friday)
Kids will learn how to make healthy choices that will lead to healthier lives as teenagers and adults.  We will promote a healthier body image and also incorporate some work out routines to get moving and fit!  They will learn about heart rate, how to handle stress, and the importance of taking care of themselves and how it can help others.

June 15-18        Reading Forever!
"The more you need the more you know, the more you know the more you grow!" ... Fun, hands-on activities will be used to enhance reading and encourage kids to enjoy reading.

June 21-24        Math For Fun
Math can be fun! Studens will love the hands on activities designed to enhance math skills.
Grades 1st - 3rd

June 21-24        Basket Weaving Is Cool
Kids will be given instruction on this ancient skill that will allow them to create something of lasting value.  Baskets make great gifts, are useful for storage, help with hand eye coordination and it is an inexpensive hobby.

June 28 - July 1       Young Techie Computer Class
Young techies, cyber surfers, and keyboarders will learn computer basics including the Internet, word processing, and computer art.

Beginning seamstresses and tailors will learn basic concepts as they work on a project they will be able to take home along with a skill that will last them a lifetime.
