"Choosing to come to Co-Lin and enroll in a technical program was the best educational decision that I ever made. From day one I was challenged and encouraged to learn more. The teachers in the BOT department care about their students and are knowledgeable and enjoy what they are teaching, which makes the students excited about what they are learning. Through a class called work-based learning I was able to get hands on experience in the Career and Technical Dean's Office. Coming from a small school Co-Lin was a great transition for me. Being in the Career-Tech Department allowed me to get involved in many activities that I probably would not have if I were in a larger setting. The classes are small so you get to know everyone. To me BOT was just like high school, But it was teaching me the skills that I needed to do a specific job. For two years I was an officer in PBL, which is the business organization on campus. This organization allowed me to compete in many different areas of business as well as make contacts in the business world. Co-Lin's BOT department was a great experience for me and is just one of the reason's that Co-Lin is the place to be."
