Copiah-Lincoln Community College is in the process of preparing for the 2015 reaffirmation of accreditation with the southern Association of Colleges and Schools on Colleges (SACS-COC). As a requirement of this process, the College must identify a student learning topic for its Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).
Copiah-Lincoln Community College has selected a topic of “Strengthening Written Communication Skills”. Currently Co-Lin is in the planning phase with the goal of beginning a pilot program in the Fall of 2014.
QEP Director Selected
We are very pleased to announce that Copiah-Lincoln Community College has hired Dr. Rhonda Tilly as the QEP Director.
The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a college wide project that will be in effect for 5 years. The director of the project must be well versed multiple areas related to the topic, statistical information and analysis, and a key player in documenting and writing reports affiliated with the QEP. Dr. Tilly has extensive experience in Institutional Effectiveness and the interactions with SACS. Additionally, Dr. Tilly is a former Co-Lin employee in Humanities at the Simpson County Center and understands the College dynamics.
Dr. Tilly is a wonderful addition to the QEP team and we are very excited about her insight and direction as we move through our 5 years plan focused on “Strengthening Written Communication Skills”.
