Thurs.-Fri., Oct. 9-10: Fall break, campus closed. Wed., Oct. 15: Health Fair, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wellness Center in the Tom Reed Academic Center. A variety of health care representatives will be on hand for information and tests. Free and open to the public. Wed., Oct. 22: Iron Teams Competition, 11 a.m., w. L. Nelson Multi-Purpose Room in the Redd/Watkins Career and Technical Education Center. Celebrity chefs and Co-Lin students battle for the title Iron Team. Free and open to the public. November Tues., Nov. 11: Salute to Veterans, 11 a.m., Nelson MP Room - A special program featuring speakers and presentation of "In Their Boots: Poems Inspired by Soldiers and Their Loved Ones," a production by Mark LaFrancis, veteran and director of Public Information. Open to the public. Tues., Nov. 11: Major book and gift item sale to raise funds for Co-Lin's Relay for Life team, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Activity Room in the Tom Reed Academic Center, coordinated by "Books are Fun." Books, games, gifts and more all at great discounts. Tues., Nov. 11: Pre-registration for Spring 2009 semester begins. Thurs., Nov. 13: Taste of Co-Lin: A food competition among clubs and organizations. The public is invited to come for lunch and vote on the favorite dish.
Residual ACT Test Dates NOTE: Residual ACT for Co-Lin only. Bring photo ID, two No. 2 pencils, calculator (optional). Cost: $30. No advanced registration required. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008: Redd-Watkins Career-Technical Center lobby, 8:30 a.m. for registration; 9 a.m. test start.
