November Tues., Nov. 11: Salute to Veterans, 11 a.m., Nelson MP Room - A special program featuring speakers and presentation of "In Their Boots: Poems Inspired by Soldiers and Their Loved Ones," a production by Mark LaFrancis, veteran and director of Public Information. Open to the public. Co-Lin will be seeking items for veterans at the G. V. Sonny Montgomery Veterans Medical Center in Jackson, and for our soldiers overseas. Please watch this page for more details. Tues., Nov. 11: Major book and gift item sale to raise funds for Co-Lin's Relay for Life team, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Activity Room in the Tom Reed Academic Center, coordinated by "Books are Fun." Books, games, gifts and more all at great discounts. Tues., Nov. 11: Pre-registration for Spring 2009 semester begins. Thurs., Nov. 13: Taste of Co-Lin: A food competition among clubs and organizations. The public is invited to come for lunch and vote on the favorite dish.
