Biological Engineering is a specific branch of engineering which deals with engineering problems encountered in biological systems. Among the many fields are bioelectronics, instrumentation, manufacture of implantable devices, and biological systems utilization related to population explosions, food production, and modifications of human environments. This program prepares the student to pursue engineering applications in diverse fields while developing a fundamental understanding of the life sciences. The curriculum is an excellent course of study for students contemplating a pre-medical, pre-dental, or pre-veterinary program.
