GENERAL INFORMATION
  • There are 688 beds on campus in ten buildings
  • 144 of these are reserved for honor students (freshmen with 20 composite on ACT or returning students with 3.0 GPA are eligible)
  • 21% of our beds are reserved for honor students – more than any other college in Mississippi
  • This semester 60% of our honors dorm students are freshmen.
  • All dorms have free cable TV
  • 64 New men’s honors beds opened in Dec. 2002

  • Internet access is available in all rooms
  • Room assignments
  • Returning student are given first priority with room reservations until June 1
  • Freshmen are assigned rooms according to the date a room deposit was paid
  • Each dorm has a Co-Lin employee family living in their dorm or adjacent to their dorm to assist and supervise our students

  • Set of 3 adjoining apartments for female honor students
  • 4 students per apartment
  • Located on the northern edge of campus just beyond Stone Stadium and are the largest apartments on campus
  • Two bedrooms & 1 bath
  • Beds, dining room table & chairs, refrigerator & stove are included
  • $575 per semester- meal ticket required

ELLIS HONORS APARTMENTS
  • Two story 52-bed complex for honors female
  • Two bedroom units are for 4 students & one bedroom units are for 3 students
  • One bath, beds, dining table & chairs  along with refrigerator & stove are included
  • Laundry room is provided
  • Located behind Rea
  • Auditorium.
  • $575 per semester- meal ticket required

ELLIS HONORS APARTMENTS

STEVENS HALL
  • Female 4 story dorm designed for 2 students in each of the 79 rooms
  • Overlooks the center of campus
  • Rooms are 13’ x 17’ & have bunkable beds with built-in desk & lots of storage space
  • 20 rooms are designated for honor students only
  • Lobby is located on 1st floor and laundry is available on ground floor
  • $575 per semester- meal ticket required

COPIAH HALL
  • Two story female dormitory
  • Houses 59 students
  • Largest dorm rooms on campus
  • Two rooms have 4 beds and 17 rooms have 3 beds
  • Private baths
  • TV lounge located on first floor
  • Located behind Stevens Annex & Callendar Hall
  • $575 per semester- meal ticket required

STEVENS ANNEX
  • 48 bed two story female dorm with private suites
  • Two students per room with 4 rooms per suite
  • Each suite has a bathroom with shower and sinks
  • 13’ x 17’ rooms with 2 beds and wardrobe, chest & desk
  • Dorm has front courtyard and entrance is through Stevens Hall lobby
  • $575 per semester- meal ticket required

FRANKLIN & SIMPSON HALL
  • Adjacent male dormitories housing 158 students located on Lester Furr Drive next to water tower
  • 2 students per room with 4 rooms per suite
  • Each suite has own restroom with showers and sinks
  • Rooms are 13’ x 17’
  • Furnished with wardrobe, chest, desk and 2 beds
  • Laundry room available
  • Cost is $575 per semester- meal ticket required

ELLZEY HALL
  • Men’s dormitory with 2 students per room
  • 137 beds available with 46 beds to baseball & basketball players
  • 12’ x 13’ rooms with built-in closets, sinks and individual heating and cooling units
  • Large showers at the end of each hall
  • Adjacent to Smith Hall and overlooks the center of campus
  • Cost is $575 per semester- meal ticket required

  • Two story 64 bed men’s dormitories assigned to honor students.
  • 2 students per room with 2 rooms per suite
  • Each suite has own restroom with showers and sinks
  • Located on the northern edge of campus just beyond Stone Stadium
