POLICIES – PROCEDURES

The following are policies, and procedures necessary for the operation 
of Copiah-Lincoln Child Development Center.  Please read each carefully.

ADMISSION/ENROLLMENT – No child is fully admitted or enrolled until all records and
forms have been properly signed and returned.  A fifty dollar ($50.00) (for infants and
toddlers) and forty dollar ($40.00) (for twos and preschoolers) enrollment fee is due
prior to admission.

AGES – Eight weeks to preschool age.

SCHOOL CALENDAR – Beginning school day is the first day of regular fall semester
classes.  Parent Orientation is held prior to the opening day of the center and all parents
are expected to attend.  A night meeting will be planned so both parents can come.

CHILDREN’S TUITION – The fee of $10.00/$8.00 per day is paid monthly in advance.
Tuition is NOT  refundable.  The fee remains whether the child is absent or present.
Parents, please return checks payable to Copiah-Lincoln Child Development Center or 
place cash in an envelope, seal, write your name, your child’s name, amount and date
for which you are paying on the front of the envelope. Turn payment in to your child’s 
teacher or child care office.  Receipts will be placed in child’s take home bag.

DELINQUENT FEES – Delinquent fees may result in immediate termination.  You will
receive a letter/memo describing the delinquent fees and will be given a reasonable
time to pay the fees.  Continuing and/or regular delinquency will result in termination of
child care services.

PERMISSIONS – The center has permission to: secure a competent physician in case of
extreme emergency; plan excursions away from the center to enhance the learning 
atmosphere; plan supervised water play activities, use slides, photographs, art work and
research of the children for educational purposes; delegate responsibilities for the child 
to the college student under the supervision of a teacher; and give unprescribed drugs 
such as Tylenol, cough syrup, etc. at the teachers discretion.

HOURS OF OPERATION – The center opens at 7:30 a.m. and closes promptly at
4:30 p.m., MONDAY-THURSDAY and opens 7:30 a.m. and closes promptly at 4:00 p.m.
on FRIDAYS.  Refer to the school calendar for additional information.

ATTENDANCE – Children are expected to attend school everyday, Monday-Friday.
8:00-3:30 to obtain full benefit of the program.  The child should be brought and picked
up promptly.  Parents who abuse this policy will be subject to termination of child’s
enrollment.  Parents must cooperate with the center by making other arrangements for the
care of a sick child.  If a child becomes ill at school they must be picked immediately 
after notification.
