PHILOSOPHY
The Child Development Technology Program offers a preschool program designed to
meet the physical, mental, social, and emotional needs of the young child from eight
weeks to preschool. Experiences are provided to help the child develop to his/her full
potential as he/she “learns through play”.
PURPOSE AND GOALS OF SERVICE
The purpose of Copiah-Lincoln Community College Child Development Center is to
serve as a Child Care Laboratory for Child Development Technology students and to
provide child care for children eight weeks to preschool age. Child Care involves
achieving a balance between physical and emotional care and learning.
